About the home/Company:

A newly established service provider (with legislative-bodies) providing of registered care and support for disabled and vulnerable groups and individuals who may be homeless, and/or in need of accommodation.

We are seeking a Registered Manager to take lead on a development project for an Ofsted Regulated provision of Semi-independent Supported Living for Children and Young People (aged 16+) in Ashford, Surrey.

The property is located between Heathrow and Ashford, in a quiet, residential area, providing 6 studio flats, with large shared kitchen, open plan dining and community area, spacious garden; and a dedicated staff office.

Essentials

  • A degree in Youth Work, or Children, Young People and Families, and/or
  • Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) with significant experience.

OR

  • NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Working with Children and Young people); or
  • Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (Residential Pathway); and/or
  • Minimum 2/3 years' experience in a similar post, as a Deputy Manager; and a willing ness to work towards Level 5/6 qualification.
  • Current DBS and Update service
  • Current Driving License (preferred, but not essential)

Experience:

  • Management in a children's residential: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
