Key Responsibilities

Resident & Visitor Experience

  • Welcome and assist residents and visitors, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
  • Handle resident queries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring swift resolution and exceptional service.
  • Provide building inductions for new residents, explaining key amenities, communal areas, and local services.
  • Assist with large deliveries, luggage, and resident requests as needed.
  • Support the Marketing Team in organising engaging community events to enhance resident experience.

Building & Security Management

  • Monitor access control and CCTV to ensure the security of residents and the property.
  • Conduct regular patrols of communal areas, plant rooms, and fire exits, reporting any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, contractor visits, and resident interactions.
  • Ensure all fire safety, emergency lighting, and alarm systems are tested weekly, logging results.
  • Manage key distribution and tracking for contractors, letting agents, and service providers.
  • Report and coordinate urgent maintenance or security concerns with Management.

Facilities & Maintenance Oversight

  • Ensure communal areas are clean, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard.
  • Oversee on-site cleaning staff, ensuring quick response to any cleanliness issues.
  • Support minor maintenance tasks, such as checking for leaks, power outages, or broken fixtures.
  • Coordinate access for contractors, oversee scheduled maintenance, and report any delays.
  • Manage parcel deliveries, ensuring secure handling and prompt resident notifications.
  • Assist with property inventories and meter readings when required.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date records, including night shift handovers and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with building policies, including no-smoking regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating window cleaning, maintenance schedules, and contractor visits.
  • Communicate updates on communal area works through notices and digital platforms.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents requiring information about local amenities, transport, and services.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or property management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanour.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management systems.
  • A self-motivated problem solver with a proactive approach to resident concerns.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding service and fostering a positive community atmosphere.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the private rental sector.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and building security procedures.
