They are committed to the success and growth of the independent music ecosystem and are constantly seeking to improve and innovate.The RoleOur client is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Royalties Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and distributing royalty statements for the labels and artists they represent, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meeting all deadlines. You will report to the Royalties Manager and collaborate with various internal teams to maintain smooth royalty operations.Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain client data and royalty conditions in the group’s royalty system, Counterpoint’s Record Maestro.
  • Process and distribute monthly royalty statements for distributed labels and artists.
  • Work closely with Business Affairs and Management to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
  • Liaise with global finance teams regarding payments, costs, and recharges for the distributed labels and artists.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects to improve the efficiency of the royalty process, including analysis of various income streams.
  • Manage company integration projects and support the Royalties Manager with general tasks.
Management Reporting
  • Ensure a seamless flow of royalty data to various Finance teams.
  • Provide additional analysis as required by Management, Financial Controllers, or your line manager.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in processing royalties.
  • Strong mathematical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Organised, methodical, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while working independently.:
