About the Role
Position: Director of Sales - Americas
This role focuses on driving sales activities in the Americas market, contributing to the property's business growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading initiatives to secure business from key partnerships and consortium's in the region.
- Aligning strategies with revenue goals and managing effective negotiations.
- Overseeing team performance, including reviews, goal-setting, and professional development.
- Representing the property at significant roadshow's and coordinating familiarisation trips.
- Managing the annual sales budget for assigned markets.
- Collaborating with global sales teams to ensure smooth communication and lead conversion.
- Keeping up-to-date with competitive trends and market dynamics.
- Handling high-value leads and employing innovative sales strategies.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years of experience in the upscale or luxury hospitality sector, with expertise in the Americas market.
- Strong team leadership and revenue generation skills.
- Knowledge of the local hospitality market (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in sales systems such as Opera Fusion, Delphi, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Excellent negotiation and business development abilities.
