About the Role

Position: Director of Sales - Americas

This role focuses on driving sales activities in the Americas market, contributing to the property's business growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading initiatives to secure business from key partnerships and consortium's in the region.
  • Aligning strategies with revenue goals and managing effective negotiations.
  • Overseeing team performance, including reviews, goal-setting, and professional development.
  • Representing the property at significant roadshow's and coordinating familiarisation trips.
  • Managing the annual sales budget for assigned markets.
  • Collaborating with global sales teams to ensure smooth communication and lead conversion.
  • Keeping up-to-date with competitive trends and market dynamics.
  • Handling high-value leads and employing innovative sales strategies.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the upscale or luxury hospitality sector, with expertise in the Americas market.
  • Strong team leadership and revenue generation skills.
  • Knowledge of the local hospitality market (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in sales systems such as Opera Fusion, Delphi, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation and business development abilities.
