Position Title: Recruitment Sales Director

Location: London (Monument Station)

Reports To: Managing Director

Salary: £85,000 - £100,000

Role and responsibilities.

The Sales Director is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the sales organization. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring our clients objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.

The Sales Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop long-term strategies and ensure the organization’s growth and success.

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement the organisation’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Align the organisation’s operations with its strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring all markets are appropriate, complimentary and that go to market strategy and execution is of a high standard
  • Travel to client sites in the UK and Germany and the US.
  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Provide leadership and direction to senior management and staff.
  • Direct management of all sales team leaders within the business across the UK and Germany
  • Matrix management responsibilities for consultants within their teams
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure effective communication within the organization.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Oversee the organization’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across Europe.
  • Ensure the organization’s financial health and sustainability across our European operations.
  1. Operational Oversight:
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all business units.
  • Monitor, evaluate and improve operational performance.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Produce a best-in-class recruitment team focused on winning new business and expanding our client portfolio.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors.
  • Represent the organisation in industry forums and public events.
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication with the Board of Directors.
  1. Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Identify and manage risks to the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  1. Innovation and Growth:
  • Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Explore and implement growth strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments.
  1. Human Resources Management:
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of talent.
  • Create meaningful pathways to leadership within the organization and improve company’s ability to bring junior members of staff into more senior leadership positions.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive organisational culture.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in a senior sales management role, preferably as a Sales Director or Managing Director.
  • Extensive experience within the recruitment sector
  • Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
  • Proven track record in winning and delivering volume recruitment programmes
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive change.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
