Senior Finance AdministratorLondon£35-£40K

The role:

A Finance Administrator role working on a flagship London development supporting the on-site accounting and management teams.

Duties:

  • Ensure that all accounting processes from purchasing to invoicing are completed in line with company policy.
  • Monitor and manage the PO processes and tasks carried out by internal teams relating to external work orders.
  • Assisting the team with closing down of any PO’s no longer required.
  • Assist, coordinate and monitor the completion of service charge budget templates by the service charge team in a timely manner.
  • Raise specific authorisation forms for all annual contracted supplier services relating to the service charge budget ready for approval prior to the start date.
  • Ensure all work orders are registered on system, in line with budget set, include the correct apportionment splits, expense is broken down within orders where required.
  • Reporting to senior management on a monthly basis detailing all open work orders.
  • Assist monthly review of service charge expenditure along with adjustments to ensure adequate variance analysis.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly service charge budget report, providing accruals & prepayments and any adjustments.
  • Report all out of budget work orders to finance and management teams.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports, data and analysis to support the Site & Service Charge Managers with any operational decisions.
  • Monitor and review insurance claims.
  • Review, monitor and manage any client recharges payable to & from the service charge, reserve fund or any other funds managed.
  • This will include insurance claims, demised works, marketing costs and special events.
  • Assist the Service Charge Manager during reporting periods.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • A strong and self motivated individual ideally with admin support, financial and technical reporting experience.
  • The individual has excellent organisation, communication skills with the ability to communicate with all areas within the business.
  • The individual will be a strong team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • At least 1 year within property management
