Caddy Group is currently looking for a multi-trader to start on social housing projects we have across Hackney, London. Our client is currently seeking an honest, reliable and hard-working individual to their rapidly growing team, carrying out refurbishment works to different properties within the Hackney area.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering quality finishes, ensuring the timely completion of plastering tasks, and contributing to other construction and maintenance activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plastering: Apply various plastering techniques, including skimming, rendering, and dry lining, to achieve smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out repairs on existing plasterwork, ensuring consistency with the surrounding surfaces.
- Multi-Trade Work: Assist with other trades as needed, including basic carpentry, tiling, painting, and general building tasks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by removing old plaster, cleaning surfaces, and setting up materials and equipment.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all site safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting project specifications and client expectations.
Must have the following :
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Working at Height (Certificates can be obtained online)
- own tools
- Own transport
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
