Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Principal, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for:

  • Leadership:
    Assisting in the overall leadership and management of the school.
  • Teaching and Learning:
    Ensuring high-quality teaching across the academy and taking full responsibility for your key area.
  • Data Management:
    Using data effectively to monitor and improve student outcomes.
  • Staff Development:
    Supporting and mentoring staff to enhance teaching skills and performance.
  • Parental Engagement:
    Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning standards.
  • Behaviour Management:
    Establishing and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.


Requirements:

We are looking for a talented leader with:

  • Qualifications:
    QTS (or equivalent) and a good undergraduate degree.
  • Experience:
    Extensive teaching experience and successful management experience as Head of Department or member of the SLT.
  • Skills:
    Outstanding teaching practice, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
