About the Role: Reed Education is recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Head of School for a primary school based in SW16. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a vibrant and dynamic school community, ensuring outstanding outcomes for all pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the school, implementing the agreed vision, principles, and policies, and maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the school in achieving high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the school's vision, principles, and policies.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including staff management and resource allocation.
- Promote and monitor the whole school behaviour policy to maintain high standards of behaviour.
- Oversee the quality of Early Years Provision and ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, and support.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the school and its development as a centre of excellence.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with families, the community, and other stakeholders.
- Model outstanding practice in teaching and school leadership.
- Ensure the effective recruitment, selection, and professional development of staff.
- Use data to monitor pupil progress and outcomes, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with at least 6 years of experience.
- Proven experience at Senior Management Level and leading at a whole school level.
- Strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in assessment and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
