Phillips Grant Associates are assisting a business with HO in Angel to recruit for an General Manager - London Office who will have overall responsibility for the sales team of 4 BDM's focused on generating new business and the operational team of 6 focused on delivering a seamless client experience and managing the clients ongoing needs which are often complex and varied.

The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our London office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management, strategic leadership, and operational sales driven excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business, driving growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of our business model in the London region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the London team, ensuring all business requirements are met.
  • Drive the expansion of our portfolio and market dominance in London by developing and executing ambitious strategic plans, ensuring the excellent growth and success of our London office.
  • Ensuring each team is following best practice guidelines and edhering to the company policies whilst hitting service level agreements.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally, whilst becoming the pivot point for the London office. Consistently ensuring coherence between all the teams to enable a seamless service to all clients.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities, and in negotiations with key partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, manage, and drive a diverse team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Strategic insight with the ability to maintain a helicopter view, ensuring all aspects of the business are aligned with overall goals.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A natural people manager, capable of motivating and developing talent within the team.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Proven expertise in financial management, with an understanding of budgeting and P&L oversight.

Package includes - £60,000 basic salary, £5,700 car allowance, commission, discretionary bi-annual bonus, healthcare plan, contribution to gym membership, companywide wellbeing seminars etc.
