A wonderful, iconic grade 2* listed North London pub and dining room with 11 boutique rooms is just a 2-minute walk from Brondesbury overground station, Kilburn tube station, and stands opposite the Kiln theatre. Our pub offers real ales, ciders, an eclectic wine list, and some of the finest beers on tap from around the world. Our food selection goes beyond standard pub fare; among vegetarian and vegan dishes, we serve meat, fish, and bread from our charcoal ovens, with many dishes influenced by North Indian cuisine. Additionally, we delight our patrons with a fantastic traditional Sunday roast every week.

We proudly received the Historic England Award for Conservation as part of the annual CAMRA Pub Design Awards in 2023 and have been featured in the Ham & High local press.

We are looking for a GM who will be fully committed to maintaining/improving the highest standards, and who can do it with passion and with a smile on their face.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to run one of London's finest pubs.

We are seeking an experienced Pub General Manager that is looking for a long-term role and is keen to learn and stay within the hospitality industry and grow with London Village Inns.

We encourage our managers to express their personalities in a pub and encourage them to participate fully in their thoughts and ideas of the progression of the pub.Our main aim is to run pubs that are welcoming, cosy and friendly environments for both staff and customers alike and that we can all be proud of.

Our General Manager would need to have a can do attitude, lead from the front, be passionate about beer and food and understand the importance of great service.

We are a small independent group called London Village Inns currently running 7 pubs, 3 boutique guest houses, a restaurant, and all are very different in their style and offer. We do not consider ourselves a chain, but a collection of small businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operations
  • Leading a passionate and dedicated team
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Hotel Manager
  • Responsible for health & safety and compliance
  • Bringing your experience and knowledge to train and guide the team

About You:

  • Have at least 12 months of previous experience in a similar position
  • A bubbly & friendly personality
  • Be passionate about beer and food
  • A natural flare as a host to deliver excellent service
  • Have a can do attitude and lead from the front
  • Positive, friendly & helpful even when working under pressure
  • Be conscientious & professional
  • References from 2 recent employers
