Job Title: Teaching Assistant | Paddington, Westminster (W2) | £94 - £105 per day | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Long Term
Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a difference in young children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our reception class in Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity to support children's early learning in a vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for early years students.
- Provide focused assistance to children, whether one-to-one or in small groups, fostering their development.
- Promote positive behaviour and address challenges within an EYFS setting.
- Prepare and organise learning materials to create a stimulating environment for young learners.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during lessons, playtime, and activities.
- Provide additional assistance to children with special educational needs (SEN), adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and staff to support each child's development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification such as: L3 Early Years Educator
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for fostering early childhood development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
