About the Role

As the Head of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's culture. You will lead the team in developing and implementing strategies that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all staff and volunteers. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that EDI and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EDI and wellbeing strategies aligned with our organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of EDI and wellbeing professionals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of EDI and wellbeing issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate EDI and wellbeing metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the organization at external events and conferences.
  • Advise on policies and procedures related to EDI and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in leading EDI and wellbeing initiatives in a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of EDI and wellbeing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
