Reed HR are seeking an experienced HR Director for a stand-alone role within our clients organisation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience and a proven track record of success in a stand-alone HR position.

This role is suited for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to HR management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive HR experience, preferably in a stand-alone role.
  • Proven leadership and the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and other government compliance regulations.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
