- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process.
- Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programmes.
- Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Overseeing and managing performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
- Nurturing a positive working environment.
- Reporting to senior management and providing decision support through HR metrics.
Profile
A successful HR Manager should have:
- A degree in Human Resources or related field (CIPD Qualified)
- Proven working experience in HR Manager role within a standalone capacity.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
