A Japanese manufacturer in London is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and drive HR strategies across the organisation.
This role requires at least 5 years of HR experience with a strong background in talent management, organisational development, and employee experience, and aims to foster a creative corporate culture while aligning human resources with business goals.

HR ManagerMain Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Design, implement, and improve HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding/offboarding, performance management, development, global mobility, employee engagement, HR systems, and payroll management
- Lead the implementation of HR strategies that enhance growth, motivation, and retention of talent
- Ensure alignment of performance evaluation systems with organisational goals and talent strategies
- Promote a creative corporate culture and the company's values across all levels of the organisation
Organisational Design & Workforce Planning:
- Design and optimise the organisation’s structure and human resource allocation based on business strategy
- Conduct workforce planning to anticipate future HR needs and implement strategies to address those needs
Talent Development & Management:
- Identify and evaluate talent, uncovering potential leaders and maximising their capabilities through continuous development
- Oversee the design and execution of training programmes to enhance employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Foster a culture of learning and personal development to improve overall organisational performance
Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- Plan and execute programmes to address labour issues and foster a positive working environment
Change Management:
- Lead and manage initiatives to drive organisational change and culture transformation
- Minimise employee resistance and ensure smooth transitions during periods of change
HR Strategy & Consulting:
- Provide strategic HR consulting to business leaders, identifying HR-related issues and proposing solutions
- Analyse HR and market data to offer insights and strategic recommendations to management
Project Management:
- Lead and manage HR-related projects, including coordinating team members and resources, ensuring timely and successful execution.
HR ManagerIdeal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a managerial capacityBroad HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and labour management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and change management abilities
- Proficient in project management and coaching skills
- Business-level proficiency in EnglishKnowledge of HR-related laws and regulations (CIPD qualification preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of HR software (e.g., SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
