ISIT Delivery Manager for HR

Contract role: 12 to 18 months

Location: London, hybrid

A global FTSE listed organisation are looking for an experienced SAP HR Delivery Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of technology programs and projects. This role will be pivotal in driving the delivery and migration of projects aligned with the ISIT technology roadmap and supporting other delivery pillars within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a geographically dispersed team to deliver technology projects on time and within budget for your designated domain and geography.
- Ensure availability of necessary resources for planned projects through collaboration with Resource Planners.
- Deliver high customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Drive consistency, reuse, simplicity, and standardization across groups.
- Provide technical and business leadership to achieve roadmap vision and results.
- Support HR Business Partners in preparing Business Cases for new initiatives, including timelines, costs, and resource requirements.
- Enforce standard IS/IT methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members.
- Evaluate and identify potential applications, infrastructure, tools, and redundancies.
- Propose and drive solutions that support business needs and align with the ISIT technology roadmap.
- Manage vendor relationships and support commercial negotiations.
- Estimate project timelines, plan resources, and define project workflows, communication, and escalation routes.
- Understand technology impacts on infrastructure, security, network, and application levels.

Competencies:

- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, positive team interactions, and proactive knowledge sharing.
- Experience coordinating major enhancement delivery teams and external vendor resources.
- Comfortable working within a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications:

- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Business, HR, or a related discipline.
- Certifications in SAP HR and Project Management preferred.
- Extensive experience with SAP project implementations (10+ years) and business development in a technology environment.
- Proven track record in delivering projects and products within a portfolio size of $1M - $5M.
- Experience in managing SAP HCM projects, including business case preparation, solution design, testing, user adoption, cutover, go-live, and Hypercare.
- Strong stakeholder management and HR business partnering skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment and managing multiple initiatives in parallel.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Skills/Knowledge:

- Excellent technical and functional understanding of SAP, with experience in configuration/support.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of SAP HCM, including time management, payroll (preferably Slovakia and Netherlands), and integration with SAP Finance systems.
- Experience managing HR master data, timesheets, payroll, SAP ESS/MSS, and Workday.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with strong communication and networking skills.
