Global Accounting Network are partnered with a dynamic and growing global communications group seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented EMEA Payroll Manager to join the finance team.

This role oversees payroll operations across multiple regions, including the UK, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, and the Middle East. Reporting to the EMEA CFO/FD, the Payroll Manager will collaborate closely with regional Talent teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for multiple countries using external payroll agencies or in-house systems.
  • Partner with Talent teams to manage monthly payroll changes (hires, leavers, bonuses, benefits, deductions).
  • Reconcile monthly payroll for CFO/FD approval.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.
  • Post payroll journals to the finance system after monthly payroll completion.
  • Support employee tax, pension, and payroll setup for new jurisdictions in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Upload pension contribution reports and assist with UK pension provider consolidation.
  • Act as the main contact for payroll-related employee queries.
  • Lead the consolidation project to manage UK payroll through a single external agency.
  • Provide general finance team support on various tasks and projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Payroll qualification or substantial experience in payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, pensions, and accounting principles.
  • Expertise in PAYE/NIC, statutory payments (SMP, SSP, redundancy).
  • Experience with Belgian payroll (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
