Connaught Education is working in partnership with a highly prestigious and successful coeducational independent preparatory school in London to appoint a Senior HR Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

The school in question is a modern, progressive and innovative school where academic achievement is outstanding but of equal importance is the wellbeing of pupils and staff and pastoral care. This warm nurturing school is popular within the community and is oversubscribed, leadership is strong, and the school continues to grow.

The appointed Senior HR Manager will work closely with the SLT to advise on all HR related matters and have line management responsibility for the HR Coordinator, key duties include:

  • Recruitment of staff
  • Retention of existing employees
  • Providing generalist HR advice
  • Supporting employee relations

The successful Senior HR Manager will have HR management experience within a school setting, experience of a standalone role within a small team covering the breadth of the HR function and a CIPD Level 5 or degree level qualification.
