Kinovo Plc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group HR Advisor to join our small but busy HR team located at our Head Office, E4 7RW (limited public transport).

We provide electrical, gas and general build services; maintaining, servicing, repairing and dealing with emergency works across domestic and commercial properties around London and the South East, within the Local Authority and Social Housing sector.

This is primarily an operational HR Advisor role, undertaking highly practical, people-based activities across the Kinovo Group and supporting the Group HR Manager.

Working within a small HR Team, you will be involved in:

  • Performance Management
  • Disciplinaries
  • Appraisals
  • Recruitment
  • Staff development training
  • A variety of ER issues at any one time across the Group
  • Co-ordinate employee well-being initiatives
  • Participate in various Social Value activities including attendance at Recruitment Fairs

You will have:

  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Previous operational HR experience, ideally within the Building Services/Construction Sector
  • A full driving licence and own transport as travel between offices will feature
  • ER knowledge and practical experience
  • Capable communication skills – handling complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence
  • Excellent written communication skills; ability to draft and respond in writing, to ensure legal compliance and minimum exposure to potential Tribunal situations
  • Personable, Confidential, Discreet, able to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Experience in effective questioning techniques to understand the individuals' issue or circumstances of complaint/concern
  • Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to situations and problems as they are presented
  • Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise own work.
  • Accurate and excellent attention to detail
