Our client is a prestigious Educational institution located in south London

Description

Working very closely with line managers, an HR Advisor is required to provide comprehensive advice on the full employee life cycle. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, self-motivated and used to organising their workload to meet deadlines. This role is ideal for a strong HR generalist seeking a new challenge

  • Advising on and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Providing guidance on HR-related queries from staff.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
  • Managing employee relations and resolving HR issues.
  • Coordinating with the HR team to develop strategies for workforce planning and development.
  • Implementing and monitoring performance management systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with labour laws and educational regulations.
  • Participating in HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Assist the HR Assistant with maintaining the Single Central Register by obtaining Disclosure and Barring checks, references and other regulatory documentation

Profile

The successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Education sector experience is preferred
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
