The Role

The HR Advisor will join an international HR team, supporting the HR Business Partner and HR Assistant. Based in London, this role spans the UK, USA, and EMEA regions, providing both in-person and remote support to global employees. Key responsibilities include delivering high-level employee relations (ER) support within a dynamic, international trading environment.

This is a pivotal position for an experienced HR professional with a solid foundation in employee relations, performance management, and international HR practices. The role involves close collaboration with senior leaders, supporting the rollout of performance and engagement initiatives, and assisting the HR Business Partner with complex ER issues and global projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership.

- Identify HR issues, offering guidance and expertise on a range of employee relations matters.

- Manage investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.

- Support managers in effective people management, fostering employee engagement and performance.

- Collaborate with the HR Assistant on recruitment, onboarding, and payroll requests.

- Partner with internal legal teams on employment law compliance across various jurisdictions.

- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and global mobility requirements.

- Support compliance with SM&CR for FCA-regulated employees.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Strong understanding of UK and international employment law.

- Proven track record as an HR Advisor, particularly in employee relations.

- HRIS experience (Hi Bob preferred).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Inform.

- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification or equivalent experience.

Person Specification

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and judgment skills.

- Ability to build trusted relationships and provide strategic support.

- Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Essential Requirements

- 3-5 years of HR experience in an advisory role, ideally within a fast-paced, commercial setting.

- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.- Employee Relations experience
