Our client is a leading business consultancy located in Stratford, is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the team. You will also be assisting the HR Department with administrative duties such as; updating the HR system, generating periodic reports, and conducting new starter inductions. This role requires excellent organisational skills, high level of numeracy and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

This role will be office based and in future will offer some hybrid working once settled into the role

Duties will include;

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the department
  • Administering employee policies & procedures
  • Offering guidance on employee recruitment and retention, evaluating employee performance and maintaining employee relations.
  • Provide advice to management on employee relations.
  • Assisting with teaching staff how to maximise staff performance
  • Regularly updating and improving existing policies and procedures.
  • Advising on company benefit packages
  • Payroll knowledge & assistance when needed
  • Analysing a company’s day-to-day operations
  • Working alongside the Associate Director of HR you will assist with various HR projects and have excellent organisational skills.

Required experience;

  • Minimum of 3 year's experience working in HR
  • CIPD level 5 minimum
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Legislation knowledge of Statutory Payments and Deductions including SSP, SMP, TAX, NI etc.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent including Maths and English
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

Desirable

  • Payroll knowledge
  • Cascade and HRIS experience
  • Project management experience
