Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer with a strong background in employment relations to join our team on a temporary contract for approximately12 months. The ideal candidate will focus on reducing absence levels and addressing performance concerns while fostering a positive work environment. Fluency in Spanish is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Absence Management: Develop and implement strategies to reduce employee absenteeism, including monitoring attendance records, identifying patterns, and providing support to employees.
  • Performance Management: Address performance issues by conducting regular reviews, providing feedback, and developing performance improvement plans.
  • Employment Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on absence levels, performance issues, and other HR metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR, with a focus on absence management, performance improvement, and employment relations.
  • Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
