Sonic Summary

The client, a well-known retail company, is seeking a Power BI Developer/Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Data & Technology team in London.
This permanent position involves delivering Power BI dashboards to stakeholders and requires proven experience in Power BI, DAX, and SQL querying.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring 3 days a week in the office, with a competitive salary offered.
Experience in Python and DBT, as well as a retail background, are advantageous but not mandatory.

Power BI Developer/Business Intelligence Engineer:

My client is a household name in the retail space. They are on a mission to add a Power BI Developer (BI Engineer) to their current team. You will be working in the Data & Technology team; your focus will be to deliver Power BI dashboards to stakeholders across the business. This is a permanent role based in London. They are operating a hybrid working model, 3x days a week in office.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Power BI and end to end reporting. From gathering requirements to delivering interactive dashboards.
Proven experience in DAX and writing DAX code.
Power Query experience.
Excellent SQL querying skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management, you will be working across the organisation.

What will make you stand out:

Proven experience in a similar role.
Experience in Python and DBT.
A retail background, although this is not essential.
