Cer Financial are working with an established international bank based in Central London. They are expanding their IT department and are looking for an experienced IT Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

The incumbent will possess expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 10, Active Directory, and Windows Security management.

This role will be pivotal in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the organisation’s Windows-based infrastructure, while also upholding and promoting best practices.

The incumbent will have experience with a high level of competence in cybersecurity. Also identifying and managing security issues within the Windows ecosystem, and ideally hold a current industry-recognised cybersecurity certification.

In addition to core systems and security experience, the role requires experience deploying and managing Wazuh, PowerShell scripting for automation, also, exposure to Kestra for workflow orchestration.

Requirements:

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support for Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 environments.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Windows Server services including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
  • Deploy and configure Wazuh for infrastructure monitoring, threat detection, and security alerting

Qualifications:

  • Academic qualifications: Higher Education/Degree in Computer Sciences, Microsoft Certified or equivalent IT qualifications.
  • Experience: Ideally minimum 5 years’ experience preferably from within another financial institution or similar environment.
  • Exposure to Kestra, or other workflow automation/orchestration platforms.
