Application Support Analyst, BankingTo £45K + bonus and benefits City of London/ hybrid

Application Support Analyst is required to join a prestigious financial services organisation with offices in the heart of the city. Within this role you will work within a small team to support a core business application. You will assist with incident resolution and troubleshoot system issues while working closely with senior team members on both BAU and project work. This role would ideally suit an Application Analyst with a minimum of two years of commercial experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and resolving IT incidents related to key business application.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate more complex problems to senior team members.
  • Learn to identify root causes of recurring incidents and collaborate with the wider team on solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Help to create support documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts within the IT team.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within a similar application support role (ideally a minimum of two years commercial experience).
  • A keen interest in IT support, troubleshooting and business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience supporting a CRM would be beneficial.
