Salt Recruitment's Local Government team is excited to be recruiting for a Senior Product Manager on behalf of a Local Government body in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of an innovative, AI-enabled product, "Report It", which is set to transform reporting processes for residents and services alike.

About the Role:The Report It product is an industry-first AI-enabled reporting tool designed to streamline the reporting of issues such as noise complaints, vehicle concerns, and street-related matters. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated product team to deliver on an ambitious roadmap through the end of the 24/25 financial year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the agile product team to deliver high-quality features within defined timelines.
  • Work closely with council services to integrate the product with internal processes.
  • Make quick and confident product management decisions, ensuring seamless communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize a fast-paced, complex program with clear deliverables and outputs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to drive the team towards successful delivery of objectives.

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive experience working in agile product teams.
  • Proven track record in senior-level product management roles.
  • Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments with defined timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive "can-do" attitude and problem-solving mindset.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with AI technologies.
  • Previous exposure to Local Government or Central Government projects.
