Our client is seeking a service-orientated, hardworking professional with a passion for System Administration to join their Global IT team. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact the day-to-day productivity of the business by ensuring the integrity of and access to vital company resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT system services and infrastructure, troubleshooting network systems, and overseeing project deployment from start to finish. This position is based in London and offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £85,000.

What you'll do:

As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our client's business. You will be responsible for managing a variety of IT system services and infrastructure, including AWS, OKTA, Palo Alto security solutions, Jamf, Intune among others. Your ability to troubleshoot network systems will be key in maintaining smooth operations. You will also oversee IT systems project deployment from start to finish, identifying business needs and deploying suitable solutions. Your role will involve managing monitoring and backup platforms to ensure high availability of critical applications. In addition to providing Tier 3 support for escalated complex cases, you will collaborate closely with the security team to ensure the efficiency and security of the IT infrastructure.

* Manage IT system services and infrastructure such as AWS, OKTA, Palo Alto security solutions, Jamf, Intune* Troubleshoot organization's network systems* Oversee IT systems project deployment from start to end* Identify business needs and deploy suitable solutions* Manage monitoring and backup platforms to ensure high availability of critical apps* Provide Tier 3 support for escalated complex cases* Collaborate with security team to ensure efficiency and security of IT infrastructure* Contribute to formulation and execution of IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this System Administrator role brings at least 4+ years of proven experience in a similar position. You have hands-on experience in networking- installing/maintaining network components like switches, Wi-Fi equipment, and firewalls. Your experience with a Cloud environment, including build, maintenance, and support is highly desirable. You have managed Backup/DR systems and have worked with SasS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack etc. Your experience managing, securing and maintaining Windows/Linux servers will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you have knowledge and experience with monitoring SaaS applications and have worked with Device management systems such as Jamf and Intune.
