Summary

In support of strategic training digitalisation ambitions, our client will be implementing a substantial number of digital training interventions, eLearning activities, eBooks, and web-based materials. This ongoing implementation will require a considerable volume of media assets to be created and managed such as video/audio, animations, and graphic assets.

Our client is looking for someone to work with the Digital Training Manager to produce the media components required in the production of digital training and support materials. Further duties will include some web page editing on both the internal and external web platforms. The role will require the ability to work independently from supplied design briefs within a demanding environment and to tight deadlines.

Whilst someone in this role will be obliged to work within the clients branding guidelines, it does present the opportunity to contribute creatively to the look and feel of training content and user experiences.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create media assets (Video, animation, graphics) to brief for inclusion in training materials working to supplied briefs.
  • Publish to and manage materials on delivery platforms such as the organisational Vimeo channel.
  • Undertake editing of internal intranet pages and external web pages to meet training delivery needs.
  • Maintain the digital training Media asset library.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all complex digital content is of a high quality, accurate and optimised appropriately for delivery.
  • Where required liaise with outsourced media production providers, ensuring the transaction of supplied materials and deliverables are undertaken according to agreement.
  • Adhere to relevant confidentiality policies/procedures and ensure confidentiality is promoted within area of work.
  • Adhere to relevant equality and diversity polices/procedures and promote good equality and diversity practices at work.

Essential Experience

  • Experience as a Digital Learning Content Designer
  • Design/build experience of relevant software:
    • Essential - Adobe Captivate & GoMo
    • Desirable - Articulate storyline 360 or Rise
  • Any audio/video editing experience
  • Educational design methodology or learning management system experience
