Process Designer Lead (Six Sigma Black Belt): Challenger Bank (Current Account Launch)

Location: London (2-4 days in office, with flexibility)

Contract: 6 months initial (scope to extend)

Rate: £700-750/day (Inside IR35)

X4 are excited to offer the opportunity for a highly skilled Process Design Lead (Six Sigma Black Belt) to a rapidly growing Challenger Bank in London on a contract basis. Currently offering savings accounts and lending products, this Challenger Bank is preparing to launch a cutting-edge current account product later this year.

As Process Design Lead, the successful candidate will take charge of a talented team of process designers and analysts, leading the design and implementation for the current account product. Your expertise will ensure the product is designed right-first-time to the highest standard, from the ground up with scalability and efficiency in mind, setting the foundation for long-term success. 

Responsibilities for the Process Designer Lead (Six Sigma Black Belt)

  • Lead the design and processes development for the new current account offering.
  • Ensuring that processes align with the bank's wider growth strategy
  • Providing leadership and expertise in Six Sigma methodologies 
  • Oversee the process mapping team (Yellow Belts)
  • Offering product expertise within retail banking and current account products 
  • Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcome.

Requirements for the Process Designer Lead (Six Sigma Black Belt)

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified 
  • Extensive experience in process design within retail banking.
  • Knowledge of retail banking products, ideally current accounts
  • Ability to oversee, guide and mentor junior team members
  • Track record of working effectively with internal stakeholders and consultancies
  • Quick to adapt and able to hit the ground running

The role is based in central London on a hybrid basis, with 2-4 days per week in office.
