BILLING ASSISTANT - GLOBAL LAW FIRM - £38K

My Client, one of the most respected Law firms in the world currently seek a Billing Assistant to join their award winning firm where they will provide support to the Europe billing team.

They have one of the most relaxed and down to earth working environments in London, including panoramic views of Liverpool Street. With over 8 offices across the globe, they really do put their stamp in the Legal market.

  • Liverpool Street location
  • Paying up to £38,000
  • Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 from home
  • Reporting into the Billing Supervisor

Duties include:

  • Producing draft invoices, finalising invoices and credit notes, ensuring bills are prepared.
  • Maintaining updated billing information
  • Ensuring WIP notes are reviewed and updated
  • Generate time and billing reports
  • Upload electronic invoices
  • Ensuring compliance with VAT and Solicitors Account Rules
  • Administering time and cost transfers and write-offs
  • Various administrative duties such as duplicating and scanning of invoices, electronic filing and other support as and when needed

Candidate Requirements

  • 1 years' previous billing experience, working within a Law firm
  • Some knowledge and awareness of VAT
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly numerate
