Excellent opportunity for an experienced legal Billing Coordinator to join the team of a highly regarded law firm in the City. Salary £50-53k plus excellent benefits. Hybrid working plus option to job share / work part-time.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working as part of the broader Accounts Team, alongside a Billing Supervisor, Financial Controller and another Billing Coordinator, this role is varied and includes an interesting mix of e-billing, billing and credit control. E-billing experience is essential.

Offering scope for full involvement as well as career potential, you will be able to use your initiative, have plenty of autonomy and make the role your own. The team is small (c.6 in total), friendly and sociable! Duties include -

  • Billing (3yrs experience)
  • E-billing (2yrs experience)
  • Liaising with the Partners on a regular basis to discuss clients' accounts
  • Producing reports including WIP
  • Credit control
  • Speaking to clients on a regular basis regarding overdue accounts
  • Responding to queries
  • Liaising with the global accounts team to update them from time to time
  • Attending regular meetings including with Partners and Lawyers

You will need at least 2 years' solid experience in legal billing to include e-billing and credit control in a law firm ideally working with corporate clients. You will also require excellent communication skills, the confidence to meet with Partners on a regular basis, the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and good IT skills.
