Our client is a leading law firm with a headcount of around 140 staff. The accounts department has a headcount of ten and is growing.

The firm is now seeking to hire a Revenue Assistant to provide a first-class billing service in a busy environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, hard-working individual, who is eager to learn and is looking to develop professionally and gain valuable experience within a core support function in a professional services firm.

The successful candidate will have previous billing experience gained at a law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Processing monthly bills
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Dealing with queries from fee earners and partners and escalating to the manager where appropriate
  • Processing WIP write-offs and transfers between jobs
  • Following fee earner billing instructions
  • Ensuring special billing instructions are followed
  • Creation of billing reports and analysis
  • Raising e-bills to be uploaded onto client billing platforms
  • Providing cover and assistance to other members

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs: to include Maths (B or above)
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent administrative skills and communication skills (written and oral)
