Finance Administrator (VAT Claims) – Temp 3 months - £19.08 per hour - Hybrid/LondonIntergovernmental body is seeking an experienced temporary Finance Administrator to support their Finance team at their central London headquarters.This is a temporary role to start ASAP for an initial 3-month period and will pay £19.08 per hour PAYE. This is a hybrid position, working 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday) in the office.The Finance Administrator will primarily be responsible of preparing supporting documents for the submission of VAT returns and other administrative tasks within the Finance Section. Duties will include: 
  • Downloading VAT invoices.
  • Downloading corresponding Payment proposals and bank statement.
  • Compile the VAT invoices with the corresponding payment proposal and the bank statement for submission.
  • Deal professionally and in a timely manner, with queries and requests from internal and external customers;
  • Achieve deadlines while ensuring all tasks are completed accurately;
  • File and archive soft and hard copies of financial records efficiently and promptly;
  • Support the financial accounting team during audits as necessary.
The ideal Finance Administrator will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Previous experience of working in a similar finance role
  • Experience of submitting VAT claims
  • Experience of computerised accounting and electronic banking
  • Bookkeeping or accountancy qualification
  • Good IT skills, experienced user of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to details
