We are seeking a Project Controls and Finance Assistant to join my client, a private healthcare facility. This role is crucial for processing and managing financial transactions to support their extensive capital projects programme. The successful candidate will also assist the Capital Projects and Property team with data analysis, presentation activities, and the preparation of presentation and report materials.Day-to-day of the role:- Utilise the online ordering system to raise and track Purchase Order requests required by the team, communicating with suppliers and internal approvers.
- Process all invoices related to the capital projects programme, ensuring they are tracked within a central schedule and paid on time.
- Manage project tracker sheets to ensure all committed, invoiced, and forecasted spend is accurately presented and disseminated to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare meeting and report packs using information from internal and external stakeholders.
- Manipulate project data to produce various reports and documents to support the wider team.
- Assist in designing and managing new processes to streamline and standardise workflows.
- Manage and input data into project change and risk logs.
- Proven experience in financial processing and management within a project-focused environment.
- Strong ability to use project management and financial software for data entry and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with both internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
