Our client is seeking a Securities Lending Operations Professional to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a crucial operations division, providing support to Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Managers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, controlled, risk-free and timely administration of financial transactions. What you'll do:

As a Securities Lending Operations Professional, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of financial transactions. You'll be responsible for matching and settling security trades across all markets, undertaking daily cash and securities reconciliations, and liaising with Treasury dealers to optimise the use of uninvested cash. Your ability to track and resolve settlement issues with brokers and custodians will be crucial. Additionally, you'll provide invaluable support to Fund Managers and Treasury dealers while also participating in the development of new systems. Your commitment to maintaining and enhancing processing procedures will contribute significantly to our client's success.

* Match and settle security trades in all markets and traded instruments accurately and promptly.* Undertake daily cash and security reconciliations.* Liaise daily with Treasury dealers to optimise use of uninvested and available cash balances.* Track and resolve settlement issues with brokers and custodians.* Provide support to Fund Managers and Treasury dealers, responding to requests and queries promptly.* Participate in the development and implementation of new systems and associated controls.* Maintain and enhance processing procedures.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Securities Lending Operations Professional role brings extensive experience in senior operations administration within an investment management organisation. You have proven expertise in managing the end-to-end trade processing life cycle from trade capture to final settlement of global securities. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships with external business partners such as trade counterparties and custodian banks. Your understanding of operational risk, compliance and regulatory requirements in a global investment management context is excellent. A good working knowledge of SimCorp Dimension or other trade processing systems will be highly advantageous.

* At least 5 years' experience at a Senior Operations Administrator level, ideally at an investment management organisation.* Prior experience of the end-to-end trade processing life cycle from trade capture, confirmation to final settlement of global securities.* Experience dealing with external business relationships such as trade counterparties and custodian banks.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills together with a customer service orientation.* An excellent understanding of operational risk, best practice, compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to a global investment management organisation.* Good working knowledge of SimCorp Dimension preferred or any other Trade processing Systems (Buy-side or Sell Side).
