Employment Law Solicitor (Private Practice)

Location: Remote (UK)

Salary: £55,000 + Performance-Based Bonus (Increases Significantly after first year).

Experience: Minimum 5 Years PQE in Private Practice (Required)

This role offers a commercially minded solicitor the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, focus solely on legal work, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth- all with the flexibility of fully remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employment Law Advisory - Provide clear, commercially sound advice on employment law matters, including contracts, dismissals, grievances, discrimination, and TUPE.
  • Case Management - Handle a varied caseload independently, ensuring excellent client service from initial consultation to resolution.
  • Dispute Resolution - Represent clients in employment tribunals, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Legal Documentation - Draft, review, and update employment contracts, handbooks, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Client Relationships- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Stay up to date with employment law developments and provide guidance to clients.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Solicitor -UK-qualified with at least 5 years PQE in employment law within private practice.
  • Technical Expertise - Strong knowledge of employment law with a proven ability to manage cases independently.
  • Commercially Minded - Ability to maximise billable hours while delivering pragmatic and effective legal advice.
  • Client-Focused - Excellent communication skills and a practical, commercial approach to legal advice.
  • Self-Motivated & Organised - Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload efficiently.
  • Advocacy Skills - Tribunal representation experience is a plus.
