In-House Legal Counsel - Property Law (Part-Time, Flexible, Remote)We are excited to present a rare and highly flexible opportunity for a qualified and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our esteemed client, a UHNWI (Ultra High Net Worth Individual) from the Middle East with an impressive UK property portfolio.The RoleAs a key legal advisor to the Chairman, you will provide strategic property law guidance that directly supports and influences high-level decision-making. You will be a trusted partner, integral to the teams you collaborate with, shaping outcomes with confidence and expertise.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Offering comprehensive legal advice across a range of property matters, ensuring that risks are fully assessed to support sound business decisions.
  • Translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for the Chairman and his senior advisers.
  • Supporting both generalist and specialist legal needs, with a focus on conveyancing and heritage / listed properties.
  • Maintaining a pragmatic, commercially focused approach to legal challenges, helping to drive business success.

This remote role enables direct engagement with the Chairman and his core team of trusted advisers.Our Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a highly experienced property lawyer, qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience who will bring:

  • Expertise in conveyancing, heritage properties, and listed building regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of land registration and property regulatory frameworks.
  • Desirable experience in planning and construction law.
  • A demonstrated ability to provide clear, concise legal advice and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and advise effectively at the highest levels.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with the capability to work independently and efficiently.
