We are currently working with a solicitors based in London who are looking to hire a Practice Manager to replace a long-standing member of the team. They would be open to candidates on either a full-time or part-time basis.
For someone joining the team full-time, it would be advantageous if the successful candidate had previous experience working as a Legal Cashier as part of a role or as a sole role as this would form part of the role.
Typical duties would include:
- Responding to office queries from the SRA
- Liaising with the companies IT firm and different suppliers to ensure a smooth running of the office.
- Managing practice certificate and professional indemnity (PI) renewals.
- Dealing with HR queries from the wider team.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience working within a solicitors practice in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of the SRA rules and regulations that may affect the firm.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
