We have been exclusively retained to recruit a Lawyer for a well-established Single Family Office. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in tax, wealth structuring, and trust and estate planning, with extensive experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on complex private client matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising the family on estate and succession planning, including the use of wills and trusts.
  • Providing specialist tax advice, including inheritance tax (IHT) and capital gains tax (CGT) planning.
  • Structuring and administering trusts, family investment companies (FICs), and other wealth protection vehicles.
  • Advising on cross-border estate planning and working alongside international legal and tax professionals.
  • Acting for trustees, beneficiaries, and executors in relation to trust and estate administration.
  • Handling probate matters, including complex and high-value estates.
  • Advising on philanthropy, including the creation and administration of charitable trusts and foundations.
  • Supporting the family with succession planning and wealth preservation.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and advising clients accordingly.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years PQE with UK experience in private client law.
  • Strong technical expertise in tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
  • A STEP qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving.
