About the Senior Childcare Lawyerposition:

Sellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting a permanent Senior Childcare Lawyer to join a reputable London Local Authority.

Our client is looking for candidates who are very experienced, ideally from a local government background but candidates who have transferrable skills from Private Practice are still encouraged to apply. This role is full-time, and the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office three times per week.

The successful Senior Childcare Lawyer require:

  • Strong experience in childcare law with the ability to hold a caseload of child protection cases, adoption law cases, matters relating to the Children Act 1989 and any other social care related issues that pertain to the Council
  • A can-do attitude and confidence to lead around 2 members of the team
  • Ability to anticipate problems and solve them accordingly
