Depot/Hub Manager

Location: East London

Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri (Note; the role is responsible for 24/7 operation so ideally would suit someone able to be flexible where needed but predominately Mon - Fri role)

In this role you have complete ownership of the existing warehouse site, leading a team of warehouse and despatch managers and supervisors. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient operations as well development and execution of strategic plans.

What you'll be doing:

  • Accountable for the successful leadership and operational effectiveness for the entire warehouse, responsible for delivering customer excellence, ensuring safety and building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead, develop and mentor a diverse, high performing and enthusiastic team
  • Scope and Identify improvement initiatives within the team and operation, leading projects across the warehouse & dispatch
  • Continuously review operational performance and procedures, across service, cost, people and process

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate, adaptable individual keen to support a high growth organisation
  • 2-3 years' experience within parcel/ecommerce/warehouse/logistics environment would be highly beneficial! But if you have an eagerness and drive to work in high growth start up we are happy to consider you!
  • A solution ordinated individual with the ability to adapt to different situations and loves problem solving!
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to handle multiple priorities
  • An appetite for success and someone who is enthusiastic about developing themselves.
