Michael Page Logistics are supporting a luxury fashion business with the recruitment of a Head of Logistics in London.

Client Details

Our client are a global brand in luxury fashion and are expanding their footprint in Europe. The role will be based in central London and offers hybrid work.

Description

As the Head of Logistics you will be responsible for all aspects of the logistics operation across the region, including 3PL commercials and project management. You will be required to complete all assigned tasks to support the sales, merchandising, factory, freight forwarding and warehouse teams across the EMEA division. You will develop and maintain key relationship with 3PL providers and will track PO from creation through to delivery. You will support with custom clearance and trade compliance. The role will oversee inventory management across operations working with the wider supply function to ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained and arrive in the appropriate locations without issue.

Profile

We are looking for a seasoned candidate with proven experience in:

  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics or supply chain management Required
  • A minimum of 5 years of logistics / supply chain management, operation experience required
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Knowledge in trading laws, customs and regulations is required
  • Experience in the premium luxury fashion industry is required
  • Knowledge and experience in fore trade and customs clearance and knowledge of laws related to them.
  • Experienced in managing warehouse operations
  • International experience
