Logistics Manager

Premier Park, North West London

Monday to Friday working

Salary c £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

As our Logistics Manager based at ITH Pharmas Northwest London Sites, you will lead our warehouse and distribution function to ensure we have ample stock to compound the lifesaving medicines we produce, whilst ensuring we have the logistics strategy in place to provide on time delivery of all items to our clients across the UK.

Reporting directly into the Group Commercial Director, you will manage an established warehouse team to deliver an outstanding customer and employee experience as we continue our journey of continuous improvement.

Define a clear vision and goal for the department.

Demonstrate our core values of Commitment, Accountability, Integrity and Teamwork and ensuring integration within the team.

Develop and executing strategic plans to achieve organisational objectives.

Coordinate the movement of goods and optimise transportation routes via selection and management of carriers, considering cost, service and efficiency.

Work with the Group Purchasing Manager to monitor and manage inventory levels to meet required demand and implementation of efficient warehousing practices for inventory storage.

Oversee delivery and fulfilment to meet required customer expectations.

Provide clear direction, motivation, and leadership to the direct team by fostering a positive and collaborative culture in line with our values.

To be considered you will need:

Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics, distribution or supply chain

Management of multi shift teams

Able to demonstrate and align to our core values of Commitment, Accountability, Integrity and Teamwork

Strong experience with ERP preferably SAP

Proven experience in change management - Leading change and transitions with ability to bring employees alongside with the vision

Experience of WMS

Pharmaceutical experience is desirable but not essential.

Ideally Lean or Six sigma qualified and CIPS/MCIPS
