About the role:

Our client offers a comprehensive total solution for clean energy, which spans generation, wind and software. Our client is a leader indevelopment of advanced wind turbines and energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and understand global and regional market demands, including but not limited to wind resources, government policies, customers and competitors;
  2. Determine the wind turbine product portfolio roadmap and corresponding product features/requirements based on market demand;
  3. As a system engineer, lead or co-lead the corresponding wind turbine product development;
  4. Cooperate with the project technical manager to analyse the project wind resources and customer needs, and determine the wind turbine product solutions, including but not limited to machine models, additional functions, layout, applicability and power generation evaluation;
  5. Cooperate with sales, business and technical managers to determine bidding strategies and support pricing strategies;
  6. Lead technical seminars and conduct technical discussions with customers at the whole machine level;
  7. Lead or co-lead the resolution of on-site technical issues.

Qualification and expertise:

  1. Master degree or above, with a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or control engineering;
  2. More than 8-10 years of experience in solution or product development in the wind energy industry;
  3. In-depth understanding of wind turbine systems and wind farm technical knowledge;
  4. Good communication skills, able to establish and maintain good communication with diverse teams and customers;
  5. Clearly organized, proactive, able to smoothly cooperate with different internal and external personnel in a fast-paced and competitive environment;
  6. Excellent English written and oral communication skills;
  7. Able to accept overseas travel.
