Description
- Managing the daily scheduling and routing of vehicles to maximise efficiency.
- Ensuring all transport operations comply with legal and company requirements.
- Supervising and supporting drivers, ensuring adherence to health & safety standards.
- Liaising with customers to provide excellent service and resolve any transport issues.
- Monitoring fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and cost controls.
- Supporting the Transport Manager in implementing operational improvements.
- Conducting driver briefings, debriefs, and performance management.
Profile
- Proven experience in a similar Transport Supervisor role.
- Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
- Proficiency in transport planning and scheduling software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
