As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service levels.

Description

  • Managing the daily scheduling and routing of vehicles to maximise efficiency.
  • Ensuring all transport operations comply with legal and company requirements.
  • Supervising and supporting drivers, ensuring adherence to health & safety standards.
  • Liaising with customers to provide excellent service and resolve any transport issues.
  • Monitoring fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and cost controls.
  • Supporting the Transport Manager in implementing operational improvements.
  • Conducting driver briefings, debriefs, and performance management.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a similar Transport Supervisor role.
  • Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in transport planning and scheduling software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
