Established over 25 years ago, our client specialises in Removals & Storage solutions. Not content with pioneering the Self-Storage industry, they also launched a removals business, which specialises in bespoke furniture, offering a white glove service.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Operations/Warehouse Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their busy warehouse and managing a team of employees, including drivers and warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth warehouse and logistics processes.
- Manage the team, conducting 1-2-1s, setting objectives, and monitoring performance.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries, collections, and accurate inventory management.
- Maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and efficiency across the warehouse.
- Handle staffing schedules, ensuring the team is fully resourced to meet operational demands.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers.
- Implement continuous improvements to streamline operations and improve performance.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and a team in a logistics, storage, or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience conducting 1-2-1s and driving team performance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic IT skills.
