A well-established facilities management firm who are renowned for their staff retention and prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Resident mechanical engineer to work on one of their brand-new flagship contracts in Holborn.

This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a Resident Mechanical Engineer to their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities.

  • I am looking for candidates with a Mechanical or Plumbing bias. We have an opportunity for a Resident Engineer to join the team based in Holborn.
  • The primary focus of the role will be to carry out planned preventative mechanically or plumbing biased maintenance and reactive works, to building plant, equipment and systems as well as respond to site engineering emergencies.
  • This exciting development of contemporary urban-inspired apartments, penthouses and villas is situated in one of London's best-connected locations.
  • Key Accountabilities of the Resident Engineer will include: Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly.
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to provide safe working practices.
  • Supervise subcontractors effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures Having the relevant qualifications and experience for your discipline is essential for your success in this role, however, what is most important to us is your effective communication skills to deliver high levels of customer service at all times, your ability to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines and problem solve on the job; whilst always promoting health & safety excellence.
