My client, a leading professional services provider is seeking to recruit an experienced company secretary from a professional services background. You will be joining a team of six with some management duties.

In particular, your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Lead a diverse client portfolio, delivering exceptional company secretarial services
  • Team Oversight: Mentor and appraise junior staff, delegate tasks, and ensure work quality
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on complex matters, including share capital transactions
  • Compliance: Manage Companies House filings and statutory deadlines
  • Project Leadership: Drive technical projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Billing & Business Development: Oversee invoicing and support business growth efforts

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Degree-qualified, ideally with a professional qualification (CGI or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of the Companies Act and relevant statutes
  • Experienced in managing client portfolios and team leadership
  • Proficiency in Diligent Entities or similar software
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Hybrid working:

2 days per week in the office following probation (3 months)
